Keeping track of who is regularly attending your services is an important metrics to monitor if you are concerned about your church growth.
According to Gallup, we are now at an all-time low for regular church attendance.
A church that I visited recently had around 400 congregation members. Apart from regular sunday services they conduct many other events on a regular basis.
With the pandemic situation, they lost many of their pre-pandemic members, but since doors opened after pandemic they started getting new members. They were tracking attendance in a spreadsheet and they really struggled to maintain that, so it was tedious for them to follow-up members. Indeed, taking attendance with a spreadsheet during service or event is a tedious process. I asked them why don't they use a software and they mentioned that they were using a software before but since it was not centralized and the UI was not intuitive enough to be used in mobile or tablet they could not continue to maintain it.
I asked them, what would really help, what kind of functionalities are they looking for. And this was their answer:
Create events and assign event coordinators, allow members and guests to check-in with their phone, easy bulk check-ins and reports that shows participation levels.
I pulled my phone out and showed them few screens from ArkFishers and they were really thrilled about it. I was able to show them everything they wanted to see, and even more functionalities like adding notes about members and guests who check-in, easy check-out, analytical reports showing church growth in terms of memberships, event registrations etc.
If your church is in need of a software to help you grow abundantly, check out the demo, you will not regret.
